Does an adjustment hurt? Rarely, if ever! The Chiropractor uses modern refined techniques and adjustments that require very little force. A popping sound you may hear is merely nitrogen gas releasing in the joint. How long will it take? Every person is different, each problem unique, thus the answer will vary form patient to patient. However, an experienced Chiropractor will draw on past experiences and explain the expected outcome and continuously review and monitor progress. Fortunately, it seldom takes as long to get well as it did to get sick.
What education do Chiropractors obtain? The Chiropractor currently takes 6 years of full time study to complete the formal education leading to their degree. Inclusive of this degree is over 2000 hours in clinical training.
What rebates are available? A significant percentage of the chiropractic fee is claimable from most health funds, the exact percentage of refund varies from fund to fund.
Is Chiropractic safe? This year thousands of people will die from medically prescribed drugs and medicine. Of the millions of patients benefiting from chiropractic this year, only a handful will have a negative newsworthy experience.
Are Chiropractic doctors “real” doctors? Yes. Like other doctors, chiropractic doctors meet stringent licensing requirements, follow a strict code of ethics, and are approved by government agencies.
Can children be adjusted? Yes. With modified techniques, children can be adjusted gently and safely from birth.
